About this opportunity Contract Manufacturing is underway in the execution of a 5 year strategy with a focus on improve performance, drive sustainable growth, build leading capability and engagement.Reporting to the Shift Operations Manager, the primary purpose of the Compounder/Blender position is to mix and/or blend bulk product, in accordance with the production schedule, to pre-determined formulations and quality standards.Your key responsibilities will be to:<ul><li>Mix and/or blend product components in accordance with client specifications.</li><li>Gather ingredients where required</li><li>Prepare line filling tanks based on production schedule and filling line capacity. Ensure secondary tanks are ready on long fill runs to enable a seamless changeover of filling. </li><li>Take samples to laboratory for analysis to confirm filling product is in accordance with client specifications.</li><li>Completion of appropriate documentation for quality and traceability purposes.</li><li>Operates/understands the Scada system that controls the manufacturing plant.</li><li>Works to achieve optimum WHSE outcomes for production area through a positive safety mindset and following safety procedures and reporting.</li><li>Attending workshops and training sessions.</li><li>Provide training to others as appropriate.</li><li>Area housekeeping  </li><li>Communicate closely with the shift supervisor</li></ul>Your skills and experienceTo be successful in this role, you’ll have:<ul><li>A keen eye for detail</li><li>Forklift license</li><li>Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) required</li><li>Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills</li><li>Working/Functional knowledge of SAP or any other system would be an advantage (not essential)</li><li>Results oriented and takes initiative with the ability to learn and adapt quickly</li><li>Strong interpersonal, communication &amp; presentation skills</li></ul>
