In this role, you will directly influence how our autonomous system achieves higher levels of autonomy with robustness and industry leading safety. You will be responsible for collecting and analyzing customer requirements and defining the functional safety goals for the autonomous system. You will conduct various safety reviews, evaluating the design robustness across the defined operating scenarios and conditions that our trucks can encounter. Additionally, this role interacts with various engineering teams to maintain interfaces and refine requirements for software systems.</div><br><br><h3>Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Work in coordination with global engineering teams to define vehicle-level self-driving requirements.</li><li>Define system reliability and robustness requirements for the autonomous ECU, sensor set and electrical interfaces.</li><li>Conduct Hazard Analysis &amp; Risk Assessment (HARA) reviews of autonomous systems/features.</li><li>Conduct Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) reviews of autonomous systems/features.</li><li>Work with a data infrastructure team to identify operational data to quantify real world performance.</li><li>You will be in a customer facing role, representing Plus for interactions with OEMs</li><li>Ensure that your work is performed in accordance with the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) requirements and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.</li><li>Ensure team compliance with QMS, monitor quality, and drive process improvements.</li></ul><h3>Required Skills:</h3><ul><li>Degree in CS, ME, EE, Mechatronics or related field.</li><li>Proficiency in English</li><li>3+ years experience developing safety critical embedded systems.</li><li>5+ years experience in automotive systems development or similar</li><li>Understanding of automotive software development process</li><li>Extensive knowledge of ISO-26262 Automotive Functional Safety.</li><li>Experience conducting safety reviews and analysis (HARA, FTA, FMEA, FMEDA etc.).</li><li>Working knowledge of ISO-21448 Safety of the Intended Function.</li><li>Working knowledge of UL4600 Evaluation of Autonomous Safety.</li></ul><h3>Preferred Skills: </h3><ul><li>Experience designing automotive electrical and electronics.</li><li>Experience with a structured requirements management systems such as Jama / Polarion / DOORS.</li></ul><h3>Salary Range:</h3><ul><li>$160,000 - $200,000 a year</li></ul><br><div><span style="font-size:15px;">Our compensations (cash and equity) are determined based on the position, your location, qualifications, and experience.</span></div><div><br></div><div><b>Your opportunities joining Plus</b></div><div>Work, learn and grow in a highly future-oriented, innovative and dynamic field.</div><div>Wide range of opportunities for personal and professional development.</div><div>Catered free lunch, unlimited snacks and beverages.</div><div>Highly competitive salary and benefits package, including 401(k) plan.</div>
