About Arts and Climate Change
Nicole Kelner is the founder of Arts and Climate Change, an organization that uses art as a tool for climate communication. Nicole uses watercolors to help visualize the world we want to live in. She creates educational content for all ages and just published a coloring book about clean energy called Electrify Everything. Her clients include the US Department of Energy, Harvard, The Guardian, and Sunrun.
About The Role
You will be responsible for filming Nicole’s art process and creating Instagram Reels and Youtube Shorts. You will go to her studio in Brooklyn once per week to film short clips and edit them into Reels. You will help brainstorm and ideate content strategy. You will help with writing/editing scripts for Nicole to do voiceovers. There are growth opportunities for you to support Nicole in editing her weekly newsletter, assisting in-person events, and other opportunities if you are interested. This role is great for someone who would like to build a portfolio and gain experience in the social media world.
Compensation
$25/hour. Part-time, 2-3 hours per week. This is a 3-month contract with a possibility of an extension.
