We are looking for a Senior Power electronics Engineer to join our HQ in Barcelona.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop power electronics oriented to charging products for electric vehicles (EV).
  • Analyze product requirements and apply solutions accordingly into the HW design considering EMC best-practices and electrical safety rules.
  • Verify the system functionality and debug/troubleshoot issues if any.
  • Write down engineering technical documentation and reports
  • Work in an interdisciplinary engineering environment (HW/FW/SW/MEC).
  • Scouting of new technologies and trends related EV charging systems.
  • Mentor junior engineers

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5+ years’ experience in design and implementation of power electronics (AC/DC & DC/DC isolated topologies), DSP-based circuitry, mixed signal digital/analog electronics, communication buses (CAN, SPI, others), HV analog sensing and conditioning, HW/FW diagnostics and protections.
  • Skilled working in a High Voltage development LAB environment. Be used to work with related instrumentation (oscilloscope, programmable power supplies/loads, power analyzer, spectrum analyzer and others)
  • Background in electronics design for EMC compliance.
  • Practice in HW development tools for CAD (Altium) and simulation.
  • Understanding of digital control techniques
  • Nice to have knowledge in magnetics design, product certification, EV charging standards (IEC 61851-1, -23, UL 2202), design for manufacturing and cost optimization processes.
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Shows valuable soft skills for the job as teamwork, communication, problem solving, methodological, transparency, adaptable to changes, autonomy.
