About the Job 

Peak Energy is looking for a talented and results-driven Technical Project Manager with expertise in manufacturing, spearheading our ESS production rollout. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading complex projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget, while delivering innovative solutions and products in battery technology. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, outlining project objectives, scope, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, including scientists, engineers, technicians, and other experts, to achieve project goals and deliver high-quality results.
  • Manage project scope, requirements, and objectives, ensuring that any changes are properly documented and approved.
  • Establish and manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure that projects stay within budget constraints.
  • Highlight and allocate resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment, to meet project schedules and deliverables.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to prevent project delays, cost overruns, or technical challenges.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management, stakeholders, and team members, keeping them informed about project progress, challenges, and risks.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to establish and maintain rigorous quality control standards, ensuring that project outcomes meet or exceed industry and company specifications.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of project plans, progress, and results. Create project reports, status updates, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the project teams, identifying opportunities to enhance project processes and technical solutions. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field. A Master's degree in Battery Technology or Project Management is a plus.
  • PMP certification required.  
  • 5+ years of technical project management experience in a related field.
  • Proven experience in technical project management, with a focus on battery technology, energy storage, or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of battery technology, manufacturing module/pack processes, and testing methods.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as, MS Project.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
  • Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations related to battery technology projects
