Head of People & Culture

Redaptive is looking for a Head of People & Culture for our India team who will work closely with global leadership and be the culture champion for the Redaptive India team.  The role will involve partnering with the managers to build a sustainable work culture and ensure an excellent employee experience. You will lead initiatives such as talent acquisition, onboarding/offboarding, payroll, HRMS, employee engagement, performance reviews and salary benchmarking among others. We are looking for someone who thrives in an ambiguous, fast paced environment, can use great judgement to make decisions and display empathy and resilience. You will need to be creative and collaborative with problem solving and execute team wide initiatives. You will need to have uncomfortable conversations with utmost objectivity and candor while upholding the Redaptive values. Although this position will be based in Pune, the ideal candidate will exhibit a strong willingness to work with a team dispersed across India.

• Facilitating diversity via cross-functional teams with varied backgrounds to set up a cohesive work environment, that is adaptive and geared for outcomes.
• Act as a thought partner to the leadership across the organization

• Talent Acquisition & Operations
• Ensuring development and implementation of HR policies, processes and streamlined operational timelines.
• Work with recruitment partners to identify and recruit talent that aligns with the company culture and job requirements
• Create and implement a strategy to build Redaptive brand as an employer in India
• Work with accounting partners on payroll and other commercials 
• Conduct performance reviews, appraisals and workshops for the development and growth of talent
• Continuously build and maintain relationships with various agencies and head-hunters
• Own internal and external communication on people related initiatives

• Onboarding & Continuous learning
• Own onboarding for new joiners and upskill existing team members to ensure necessary competency is maintained at all levels
• Identifying and engaging with external speakers and mentors to work with the team across all levels
• Work with the General Manager in India to build a scalable learning & development program for the India team

• Employee Engagement & Communication
• Owning the feedback process by soliciting it frequently across all levels of the Redaptive India teams and ensuring that it is being communicated in an effective and timely manner
• Ensure all employees feel heard and valued by implementing formal and informal communication channels
• Developing channels for steady dialogue and pulse checks for the Redaptive India team
• Organizing activities that facilitate the development of intra-company bonds for the Redaptive India team

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in People and Culture departments
• Experience in leading talent acquisition, onboarding/offboarding, payroll, HRMS, employee engagement, performance reviews and salary benchmarking among others
• Comfortable working in an autonomous role with a high level of ownership across a geographically dispersed team.
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
• Passionate about building a People function in a fast-growing organization
