Job Description

The Company

Founded by Tesla’s former head of energy products, Span created a smartphone-enabled electric panel. It is beautiful to look at, it is built to last, it has onboard intelligence and it can interact with every single circuit in your home, which includes your electric car, solar panels and home battery. We think Span can fundamentally upgrade our homes, improve our lives and help us bridge to a clean energy future. Read the story behind Span to learn more.

The Role

As our Mobile App Architect, you will be responsible for the technical architecture of Span’s mobile-native, cross-platform apps - Span Home and Span Installer. You will responsible for the setting the technical direction of the app from top to bottom, animations to API interactions.

Span Home is the app homeowners use to interact and control their panel. It is meant to offer not just transactional value, but also to educate, engage, inspire and ultimately drive positive behaviors across the household. Watch this video to understand how we’re manifesting the vision - SPAN reinvented the hundred year old electric panel. The SPAN app brings it to life.
