This role involves ensuring accurate cost center and project allocation, analyzing costs, tracking project costs, accounting and reporting for government grants, assisting in budget development, and implementing cost control measures. By fostering efficient, ideally automated processes, you will help ensure the financial foundation that supports future growth, scalability, and profitability of the company.</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><strong>Roles &amp; Responsibilities</strong><p> </p><ul><li><span style="font-weight:400;">Responsible for the timeliness, accuracy and completeness of daily and period-end close activities for inventory and related inventory reserves, including journal entries, account reconciliations and roll-forwards in accordance with reporting deadlines.</span></li><li><span style="font-weight:400;">Responsible for end-to-end inventory processes, costing and valuations.</span></li><li><span style="font-weight:400;">Propose and maintain Standard Cost.</span></li><li><span style="font-weight:400;">Analyze and update Landed Cost.</span></li><li><span style="font-weight:400;">Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Production, Operations, and Logistics departments to ensure accurate recording of inventory data and cost allocations to cost centers and customer projects.</span></li><li><span style="font-weight:400;">Manage inventory cycle count program.</span></li><li><span style="font-weight:400;">Collaborate with the Corporate Controller on reserves and dispose of excess &amp; obsolete inventory.</span></li><li><span style="font-weight:400;">Monitor and resolve daily inventory accounting and exception system reports for accuracy and completeness.</span></li><li><span style="font-weight:400;">Protect integrity of inventory by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.</span></li><li><span style="font-weight:400;">Update and track project costs for incurred expenses and accruals.</span></li><li><span style="font-weight:400;">Assist with the financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements to ensure accounting procedures and reporting conform to generally accepted accounting principles.</span></li><li><span style="font-weight:400;">Support the implementation of additional NetSuite modules, especially the inventory and work order modules.</span></li><li><span style="font-weight:400;">Perform other ad hoc duties as requested.</span></li></ul><p> </p><strong>Key Qualifications</strong><p> </p><ul><li><strong><span style="font-weight:400;">BS or MS degree in Accounting/Finance or similar.</span></strong></li><li><strong><span style="font-weight:400;">Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.</span></strong></li><li><strong><span style="font-weight:400;">Minimum 5+ years of experience in a senior accounting role, with a strong focus on inventory and job costing.</span></strong></li><li><strong><span style="font-weight:400;">Proven experience with GAAP and relevant accounting software (e.g., NetSuite).</span></strong></li></ul><p> </p><strong>Additional Qualifications Desired</strong><p> </p><ul><li><span style="font-weight:400;">Strong Excel skills</span></li><li><span style="font-weight:400;">Significant hands-on experience with NetSuite</span></li><li><span style="font-weight:400;">Solid understanding of manufacturing operations, inventory, and cost accounting</span></li><li><span style="font-weight:400;">Understanding of U.S. GAAP as it applies to a manufacturing environment is required.</span></li><li><span style="font-weight:400;">Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.</span></li><li><span style="font-weight:400;">Extraordinary interpersonal skills to work in conjunction with other departments.</span></li><li><span style="font-weight:400;">Must be a team player who also works well independently.</span></li></ul><p> </p><p>Work Location:  Onsite - San Jose, CA</p><p>Salary Range:  $150,000 USD - $180,000 USD</p><p><span style="font-weight:400;">Salary Basis:  Annual</span></p><p>This job posting contains the salary range that Antora Energy believes it would be willing to pay for the posted job.
