IT Administrator

About the Role

We’re looking for an IT Support Specialist who will be the contact for all Afreshies, remote and local and all of their device related questions. You'll be responsible to ensure that the Afresh team is set-up for success from an IT perspective. This includes onboarding new hires (e.g., issuing new devices like laptops and tablets), collaborating with Office Management to ensure our WiFi is consistently up and running, and responding to basic IT questions.

What will you be doing?

• Ensure that Afreshies have the hardware and software solutions they need to be successful
• Troubleshoot hardware and software solutions
• Onboard new hires, issue devices
• Drive towards a more self-guided IT org (e.g., create looms, documentation, and FAQs)
• Support Audio/Video during company events
• Coordinate processes with other teams like Office Management, People, and Engineering

What skills or experience do you need?

• 2-3 years experience in IT and ability to support and troubleshoot Macs, Windows 10, and iOS in a business environment
• Basic network knowledge (Wifi)
• Attention to detail and a can-do attitude
• Empathetic to the hardware and software needs of all Afreshies
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently in an unstructured environment
• Highly reliable - you stick to your word and follow-through
