Job Description

Redaptive Inc. is seeking a Director of Field Operations for our Redaptive's International Electron business unit. This individual will lead our team of installation program managers to ensure timely, accurate, and cost effective energy meter installations and will also manage and direct nation-wide installation partners.
International Electron (a Redaptive, Inc. company) is a technology company within Redaptive that develops and deploys large-scale energy data platforms designed to help organizations digitize their facility management and become better energy stewards.
This position reports to the Vice President, Supply Chain.
This position may be done anywhere in the remote USA except Colorado at this time.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow a team of program managers, field engineers and support staff responsible for product installation and ongoing technical field support.
  • Develop and manage electrical installation partners with laser focus on best-in-class training, performance, timely execution, and cost management.
  • Negotiate Service Level Agreements, pricing, and SOW’s
  • Develop industry leading response and resolution to field issues with a focus on cross-functional communication and corrective-action feedback.
  • Ensure internal personnel and external partners adhere to all safety requirements, embodying a Safety-First culture.
  • Measure and verify quality of field installations through our Electron VerifiedTM process. Drive timely resolutions and feedback.
  • Ensure meter commissioning criteria is met and work with an offshore team to close out issues in a timely manner.
  • Monitor, measure, and report team and partner results against monthly, quarterly, and yearly MBO’s.
  • Work closely with the solution design team to create installation Statements Of Work.
  • Manage special programs (one-off transformational efforts) as directed by Leadership.
  • Effectively manage the team to execute under pressure and within tight deadlines.
  • Take initiative to develop and implement tools and processes that improve cost, scale, and profitability
  • Help to analyze, create, manage, and achieve annual O&M financial and operational targets, in alignment with corporate objectives and direction.

Job Requirements/Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant experience with deep knowledge of Service and Installation Operations Management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering (or related field) preferred. Relevant experience also considered.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully managing a diverse, remote O&M Team (including management of international employees) and tracking performance.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes involved in business and organizational planning, coordination, and execution. This includes installation and maintenance, planning, resource allocation, staffing, and leadership techniques.
  • Commercial Project Management experience with strong knowledge of project management tools and best practices.
  • Technically proficient within the sustainability and energy efficiency sector.
  • Fundamental understanding of commercial lighting, MEP, HVAC, energy management and commercial/industrial facility layout.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate to all levels of the organization.
  • Strong presentation skills and quantitative analysis
  • Proven track record of setting and owning team deliverables, scaling organizations, driving accountability, and measuring results.
  • Have an ergonomically correct and functional work-from-home workstation set up; amenable to working from home for the foreseeable future
