This role will be key in guiding a continuous improvement culture mindset. The initial term at this site location will be for one year with a requirement to support other plants in the region, as assigned. Principal Responsibilities<ul><li>Ensure IPEX products meet customer and IPEX quality requirements.</li><li>Review customer complaints periodically to identify trends and action plan to prevent reoccurrence.</li><li>Lead specific quality improvement opportunities and CAPAs in conjunction with plant quality and the plant leadership team.</li><li>Integrate newly acquired companies into the IPEX QMS and provide training within the plant.  </li><li>Execute the Corporate internal auditing of IPEX QMS.</li><li>Apply appropriate use of statistical techniques.</li><li>Effectively communicate and reinforce IPEX commitment to quality improvement efforts.</li><li>Participate to the enhancement of IPEX quality tool including but not limited to:<ul><li>Process Maps</li><li>Cause and Effect Matrix</li><li>Gage R &amp; R Studies</li><li>Capability Studies</li><li>Root Cause Analysis methodology / Control Plans</li><li>DMAIC process</li></ul></li><li>Support IPEX PPAP (product part approval  process)</li><li>Other assigned responsibilities.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>University Degree in Engineering or Science.</li><li>Certified ISO 9001-2015 Internal auditor is an asset.</li><li>Professional designation in quality</li><li>Green belt Lean Six Sigma certification is an asset.</li></ul><ul><li>Minimum 5 years of practical experience as a quality assurance professional in a manufacturing environment.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional groups.</li><li>Experience in Minitab is an asset but is proficient using MS office.</li><li>Strong understanding of statistical process control</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal</li><li>Ability to collaborate with people, processes, and systems</li><li>Ability to be flexible and highly adaptive in a fast-paced environment </li></ul>IPEX is committed to providing accommodations for people with disabilities throughout the recruitment process and, upon request, will work with qualified job applicants to provide suitable accommodation in a manner that takes into account the applicant’s accessibility needs due to disability.
