Job Description

Senior Android Developer (Volunteer)

Note: The following is an opportunity for flexible, part-time, volunteer work to address climate change. Please DO NOT APPLY if you are only looking for paid employment. A 6 months commitment is preferred. This is a remote-from-home position.

Are you an Android developer with 5+ years of experience coordinating a team?  Do you want to make a difference in the climate crisis? Are you motivated by working with smart and talented individuals who are creating a better world? Can you commit approximately 7 - 10 hours a week, working remotely on your own schedule with our far-flung, diverse team? If so, we would love to chat about your help and unique talents.

Who We Are

Earth Hero is a global all-volunteer nonprofit organization with users in 153 countries. We exist to make it easy to act on climate change. Check out https://www.earthhero.org to get to know us better and see if our mission and project resonate with you.

We are looking for action-oriented individuals who are excited to address climate change. As a startup, we are looking for people who will help build and scale our impact and at the same time are willing to roll up their sleeves to get stuff done!
