The purpose of the role:

The PMO Analyst will support the PMO Lead to govern the project portfolio for the Finance Centre of Excellence based in Cannock.

Key Responsibilities

The key focus areas for the PMO Analyst role are:

  • Collating project report packs from Finance process owners and project managers as required for regular portfolio review meetings. 
  • Tracking actions from portfolio level review meetings, following up and ensuring actions are up to date across the project portfolio
  • Arranging portfolio level review meetings ensuring appropriate attendees or delegates are invited and prepared ahead of the meetings
  • Tracking and reporting on project benefit, risk and outcome delivery at portfolio level, and at stage gate level to drive project completion within time and budget.
  • Tracking and reporting the status of portfolio level dependencies across projects.
  • Providing support to the Finance COE PMO lead to drive project delivery excellence across the portfolio.

What we’re looking for:

  • Good experience working within a PMO Analyst or Project Coordinator position.
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Highly proficient IT skills, particularly in managing electronic diaries, emails, and the MS Office suite.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to cope with a wide range of competing demands and changing priorities.
  • Ability to anticipate issues, solve problems, and provide practical, innovative solutions.
  • Experience in maintaining complex source material, information, and data.
