About the Role:

InductEV is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director – Transit Mobility Sales to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the commercial vehicle fleet and/or electric vehicle industry, major metro transit agency, as well as experience in charging and sustainability.

 

As the Director – Transit Sales, you will be responsible for the development and execution of sales strategies to drive revenue growth. You will work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement targeted campaigns to increase brand awareness and customer acquisition.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Achieve or exceed revenue and profitability targets
  • Develop and implement sales strategies
  • Identify new business opportunities and build relationships with key decision makers within the commercial vehicle fleet, Electric Vehicle OEM, and adjacent channel partners.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement targeted campaigns to increase brand awareness and customer acquisition
  • Monitor market trends and adapt sales strategies accordingly
  • Embrace the startup world and take on new challenges with the initiative to solve difficult problems and drive continuous improvement

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, MBA optional.
  • 10-15 years of industry sales experience, not 100% required by preferred commercial vehicle fleet knowledge and/or electric vehicle industry background
  • 10 years of experience in a leadership role
  • Demonstrated experience in sales and revenue growth
  • Demonstrated experience in building a team and leading and managing to achieve aggressive growth targets
  • Strong understanding of the EV market and its trends

 

What you’ll be working on:

  • Development and implementation of sales strategies to attract public transit customers to increase brand awareness and revenue.
