Responsibilities:
- Drive Sales and Growth: Develop and implement strategies to expand our customer base, nurture existing relationships, and achieve sales targets in line with our channel strategy.
- Account Management: Manage key accounts with a focus on daily engagement, strategic planning, and data-driven decision-making to identify growth opportunities and address product gaps.
- Identify and Secure New Business: Proactively seek out new business opportunities, establish partnerships, and work with internal teams to create compelling sales and marketing plans for new products and markets.
- Build Strategic Relationships: Network and engage with customers, suppliers, and industry professionals to strengthen our market presence and drive business objectives.
- Collaborate Across Functions: Partner with Product Management, Technical Services, and Pricing teams to develop customized solutions, implement pricing strategies, and support new product development.
- Market Insight and Strategic Planning: Stay informed on industry trends, leverage existing business insights, and contribute to the development of long-term strategic plans to ensure continued growth.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 5-7 years of business development or sales experience, ideally within the marine industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with marine sealing components or similar products is preferred.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong relationship-building skills, expertise in project management, effective negotiation abilities, and a proactive approach. You should be a strategic thinker with a sense of urgency and a passion for driving results.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems is essential.
- Willingness to Travel: This role requires up to 50% travel to engage with customers, attend industry events, and explore new business opportunities.
