The Opportunity
Combining our deep knowledge of solar, wind, storage, and grid technologies, with our global power modelling and analysis capabilities, our Wood Mackenzie Power and Renewables team deliver advice that inform and support our clients’ decisions in the complex and rapidly changing electric power industry. Located globally, we provide research and analysis that help our clients actively pursue the energy transition
 

About the role:
Get involved with industry-leading analyses across the energy transition spectrum, in our Power &Renewables Practice. Indulge your curiosity, and build on your knowledge of power market fundamentals, clean energy policy and technologies through close collaboration with industry-leading subject matter experts. Follow your passion for the energy industry and contribute to original and publishable research.
 

Qualifications

  • Studying towards a Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification with a quantitative, statistical, energy and/or economics focus.

  • Applicants must have the legal Right to Work in the country this role is based in. We are unable to sponsor employment visas at this time.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for

  • Strong collaboration skills

  • The ability to creatively problem solve

  • Great written and verbal communication

  • Willingness to learn about our business from the ground up

  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills

  • A genuine interest in energy market dynamics – some knowledge of the key drivers of the energy transition (through studies or general background reading) would be beneficial
