Job Description

Our goal is to deliver hydrogen fromrenewable electrolysis for heavy industry, at prices below fossil fuels.As a key member of the lab operations team, you will be responsible for helping us accelerateour learnings through fast lab experiment iterations. You and your team will serve as anexecution arm to help source equipment, build prototypes, and document critical experimentsunder guidance of our R&D Engineers and Scientists. You will report to the VP of Operations. You will be based at our location in Natick, MA. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:·     Sourcing lab equipment to specification provided by EH2 Engineers/Scientists.·     Installing and maintaining lab equipment & test set ups to ensure smooth running of lab operations.·     Recruiting and leading a team of technicians to support growth in lab operations·     Perform routine and non-routine tests and analyses using the appropriate technical equipment and instruments·     Calculate test results, and log and report results using a computer.·     Perform maintenance and calibrate lab equipment if necessary·     Maintain lab equipment in proper working order and maintain a clean work area·     Practice safe work habits, including complying with all safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations Core Competencies:·     Track record of ability to instill confidence as a credible, reliable, and expert lab operations resource for team members·     Exceptional organizational, communication, decision making/problem solving, analytical, relationship and time management skills·     Capable of managing change on multiple projects simultaneously, while working in a fast paced and dynamic environment·     Takes initiative to identify what needs to be done, doing it before asked, and follows up with other to ensure commitments have been fulfilled. Minimum Qualifications:·     High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a scientific field preferred·     3-5 years of experience working in a lab·     Computer skills: knowledge of Microsoft Office and other relevant computer programs·     Analytical and numerical skills: ability to perform mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in different units of measurement; ability to use concepts such as fractions, percentages, and ratios·     Strong attention to detail·     Ability to write correspondence and reports·     Excellent organizational skills·     Ability to perform physically demanding work such as moving and lifting equipment, standing for long periods of time, etc.·     Evaluating, selecting, and ordering equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective for our lab operations.·     Hire, Train and support process technicians·     Impeccable attention to detail, a process-oriented mindset, and excellent time management skills·     Adhere to company policies and safety requirements·     Self-motivated, proactive, and efficientEmployee Benefits Electric Hydrogen offers the best benefits possible.  We pay 100% of all employees’ health/dental/vision/disability insurance premiums and 100% of the premium for their immediate family.  This is for all our employees.  We feel strongly that our team should not have to worry about having quality healthcare.  We also offer a generous 401k match and an unlimited time-off policy. About Electric Hydrogen  Electric Hydrogen is a team of the world’s leading experts in scaling technologies for the post-carbon world, with a proven record in transforming the grid and transportation sectors.  Backed by some of the world’s top venture capital firms, the Company designs and manufactures electrolytic hydrogen systems matched to renewable power sources to generate green hydrogen by splitting water.  Electric Hydrogen is building a cost-effective and transformative path between renewable energy and multiple large industrial sectors.
