Lead AI Engineer

We are currently looking for a Lead AI Engineer to join our team inCasablanca. Your role will involve leading a small AI Team to train an LLM toaccomplish complex tasks and automate repetitive tasks through AI.  Your mission

• Utilize your deep knowledge of AI and LLMs to tackle complex problems. Develop and deploy code and algorithms to support AI solutions.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. 
• Design, implement, and refine LLM architectures (such as Llama2, GPT, Mistral) to address specific business needs. Oversee the training and fine-tuning of these models to achieve optimal performance.
• Identify and analyze repetitive tasks that can be automated. Collaborate with stakeholders to design AI-driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, and software engineers to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and processes.
• Ensure the highest quality of AI models by implementing rigorous testing and validation procedures. Address and resolve any issues or bugs that arise.

Your profile

• Engineering degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field. Ph.D. is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in programming in Python, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. 
• Proven expertise in working with LLMs (Llama2, GPT, Mistral) and large-scale AI projects.
• Strong understanding of unsupervised and supervised learning.
• Demonstrated experience leading and managing a team. Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proven track record of delivering innovative AI solutions.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English. 
• Experience working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Ability to build strong relationships across diverse teams.
