Job Summary:

The International Launcher will be a key driver of Fuse Energy’s global business development, responsible for expanding our renewable energy portfolio into new international markets. This role focuses on identifying and securing new opportunities, negotiating land and partnership agreements, and leading the acquisition of strategic projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development with a proven ability to deliver results in new and diverse markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Expansion & Opportunity Identification:
    • Identify and evaluate high-potential international markets for solar, wind, and energy storage projects.
    • Develop and execute market entry strategies to establish Fuse Energy’s presence in new regions.
    • Build and maintain a pipeline of potential projects and partnerships.
  • Business Development & Partnerships:
    • Lead efforts to identify, negotiate, and secure partnerships with local developers, investors, and other key stakeholders.
    • Develop strategic alliances to accelerate project development and market penetration.
    • Manage relationships with partners to ensure long-term collaboration and success.
  • Project Acquisition & Viability Assessment:
    • Drive the acquisition of renewable energy projects that align with Fuse Energy’s strategic goals.
    • Conduct thorough due diligence and viability assessments for potential acquisitions.
    • Negotiate and finalize land deals, ensuring favorable terms and project feasibility.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution:
    • Collaborate with internal teams to align business development activities with company objectives.
    • Lead the execution of business development plans, ensuring timely and successful market entry.
    • Monitor and report on the performance of business development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Experience:
    • 2+ years of experience in business development.
    • Proven track record of successfully entering and scaling new international markets.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field;
    • Strong business development, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
    • Basic understanding of the renewable energy sector, particularly in international contexts.
    • Strong problem solver.
