Responsibilities / Tasks
Ensuring that all quotations are done as per GEA standards and as per agreed margins
Ensuring that all procurement is done in accordance with the ERP system requirements.
Ensuring that all job files are maintained as per GEA standards
Ensuring that all WIP is kept up to date and as per GEA standards.
Ensuring that all invoicing is done in accordance with ERP system and on time.
Ensuring that all aspects of human resource management is implemented and managed – leave, sick leave, social welfare, office facilities, employment contracts, etc
Ensure that all local banking, leases, expense sheets, etc. are maintained and managed.
Ensuring that all overheads are managed and documented as per GEA standards
Develop and maintain branch facilities to support service business
HSE implementation and enforcement.
Ensure that technicians receive adequate training and expose to Group know how.
Business Development actions:
Create (from historic data) customer database and add to this, using MI as the source.
Identify all current and potential customers within your area of responsibility across the whole of GEA’s product portfolio.
Provide Market Intelligence in area of responsibility related to all GEA Product Groups
Obtain Install Bases per Product Group from Service Sales, Equipment Sales & Solution Sales and develop further
Obtain Potential Income per model from Service Sales
Identify & Calculate Service Opportunity in region
Calculate Share of Wallet per country in within your area of responsibility

Unitary (Actual Units)
Identify Training Requirements – Develop training gap using provided documents
Create Parts Coverage in conjunction with Supply Chain for area covering:
Critical Spares
Service Spares
Compile Strategy to target Identified Opportunity
Target Customers based on revenue potential & strategic importance
Compile Implementation plan with clear actions, dates, and responsible personnel
Identify Competitors & Market Share
Your Profile / Qualifications
Strong understanding of the Ammonia refrigeration process and the associated engineering.
Minimum work experience of 2-3 years in project sales and/or execution.
Ability to select equipment and to do basic design checks.
A strong knowledge of the OHS Act and experience with site safety files
Knowledge of SANS 10147 advantages
English and Afrikaans (proficient),
Good negotiation skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to formalize detailed business letters and documents
Very good communication skills
Strong customer orientation with the focus on service delivery
Ability to engage with customers at different levelsStrong computer and communication skills (Microsoft excel, Microsoft project, AutoCAD etc)
