The company is backed by a diverse set of committed investors and we have raised over $360M to date.Role DescriptionAs Form transforms the grid, we are looking for a Paralegal or Legal Operations Associate who will report directly to the Deputy General Counsel helping to build the legal department and to support all business functions across the company on legal matters. This person will play an essential role in the legal department, managing communications with outside counsel, intellectual property and general corporate matters, operationalizing and refining workflows, and contributing significantly to the Legal team's level of client service and valued partnership with the business.We are looking for a highly organized and collaborative person who thrives in a fast-moving environment and gets excited about developing processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and implement efficient and effective systems for managing information, projects and communications to ensure accurate and timely responses.
  • Engage directly with internal clients and outside counsel to help track the company’s intellectual property portfolio; manage non-disclosure, commercial and other agreements; and otherwise ensure departmental organization and efficiency.
  • Manage relationships with outside counsel, including monitoring correspondence, onboarding new counsel, and reviewing invoices.
  • Complete projects independently, following up on results to ensure accountability.
  • Monitor, update, and help develop strategic and tactical goals in order to meet organizational goals.

What You'll Bring:

  • BA or BS Degree from an undergraduate institution
  • 2+ years experience as a paralegal, legal operations, or similar position
  • Experience with a wide array of legal documents and contractual agreements, including NDAs, consulting agreements, and other commercial contracts
  • Familiarity with patents and other intellectual property documentation
  • High level of professionalism and motivation, and able to work individually and as part of a team in a fast-paced, rapidly changing startup environment
  • Ability to take initiative to identify and complete tasks
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with rapidly changing priorities
  • Demonstrated capacity and passion for organization and efficiency
  • Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Maintain appropriate levels of discretion and confidentiality in legal matters
