In light of further international expansion of its business, Parkwind is looking for an IT Support Officer.


Your role:


  • Your main task will be to provide 1st line technical support to both internal and external users (including third parties) in a Microsoft 365 Cloud/Windows environment, focusing on users based in Leuven, Oostende, London and Germany.
  • Install, support, upgrade and troubleshoot hardware and software systems.
  • Conduct remote troubleshooting through email, Microsoft Teams and remote screen sharing software.
  • Record and follow up technical issues and solutions in our help desk ticket system.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the next line of support.
  • Create user manuals and work instructions and improve IT processes.
  • Pro-active monitoring of IT systems (health, speed, consistency, and security).

What we expect:

  • A first professional experience in a similar role and/or relevant degree.
  • All round IT knowledge, especially with Microsoft 365 cloud.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
  • Willingness to regularly visit our remote offices both in Belgium and abroad (e.g. London, Germany).
  • Good interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for supporting users.
  • Strong communication skills to understand users' needs, clarifying issues, crate consensus on timing and agree on solutions.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on implementing sustainable solutions.
  • Real team player with honest and open communication, flexibility, a helpful attitude, and discretion.
  • Stress-resistant to remain calm and professional under pressure and assist in a friendly and patient manner.
  • Ability to work pro-actively, independently.
