Shift/Hours/Location: M-F, 8am-5pm, Onsite, Moses Lake, WA
WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON
- Evaluate, revise, and produce process-related design drawings. Drawings include but are not limited to Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs), pipe routing drawings, General Arrangements (GAs), construction drawings, mechanical drawings, civil/structural drawings, and installation details.
- Evaluate, select, and apply data and information provided by project team members.
- Develop As-Built P&IDs and process-related drawings through field verification and office work.
- Maintain existing and develop new drafting and AutoCAD standards.
- Assists in preparing design plans and coordinates the assigned work to meet project and maintenance schedules.
- Monitor compliance with approved design standards to provide reliable/safe plant operation, quality design, and construction economy.
- Uphold all MLI policies and the "MLI Code of Conduct."
- Strict compliance with Environmental and Safety regulations.
- Compliance and individual accountability with the MLI Quality System and ISO Registration is required. It is the employee's commitment to ensure that the Company's actual practices and procedures are exercised as directed.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support and sustain a high-performing team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- AutoCAD certification or other certified design/drafting training.
- Three or more years of directly related industry experience required.
- Best Practice Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) experience required.
- Broad knowledge of design, drafting, engineering, and fabrication techniques.
- Understanding of industry standards and codes and accepted design and fabrication practices.
- Working knowledge of computers and MS Office software.
- Working knowledge of arithmetic and grammar.
- Specific knowledge of: ACAD 2018 to the current version.
- Demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
- Manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously to meet established deadlines.
- Work with a team or independently.
- Perform tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Summary pay range: $66K-$79K

WORKING CONDITIONS
Duties are generally performed indoors in an office and high purity manufacturing environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. When working in the presence of safety hazards, the employee is expected to follow company safety rules and use proper personal protective equipment such as: hardhat, safety glasses and full leather shoes, etc. Employees will work in a covered Process Safety Management (PSM) environment containing threshold quantities of flammable liquids and/or gasses that have a potential for fire or explosion. Employees working in this environment are required to be free from devices that are not considered intrinsically safe. Examples of devices that may not be intrinsically safe include Insulin Pumps, Pacemakers, Pain Management devices, etc.
