 SUMMARY

Nexamp is seeking a Solar Project Acquisition Manager to join our Channel Development team in support of Nexamp’s solar project acquisitions and targeted growth strategy. The Solar Project Acquisition Manager will be responsible for performing due diligence efforts related to permitting, site control, incentives, interconnection, and project design, and for supporting related project development efforts (as necessary) for acquired assets. • Review partner documentation related to permitting, site conditions, and site control of asset acquisition opportunities under supervision of Channel Development Director; organize and communicate findings to Channel Development team and appropriate internal stakeholders
• Investigate and detail all permitting requirements within relevant jurisdictions for individual acquisition opportunities
• Interface with Nexamp design engineering and interconnections teams to coordinate technical due diligence
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to facilitate the project permitting and approval process, as necessary
• Track and resolve open development issues in both pre- and post-closing settings, including pertinent real estate issues (e.g. easements, access, and title concerns)
• Work independently and as part of a team to ensure thorough and efficient diligence in support of annual Channel Development goals

  QUALIFICATIONS

• Commitment to Nexamp’s mission and a passion for solving tomorrow’s climate crisis today
• Two to five years solar project development, or related experience
• Direct experience in either solar project permitting or solar project design engineering preferred
• Excellent communication (oral and written), organizational skills, and thorough attention to detail required
• Demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities and manage multiple projects
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment
• Knowledge of issues impacting solar and storage permitting process required
• Bachelor’s or relevant degree required
