Streetlight has offices in San Francisco CA, Richmond VA and Canada. The ideal candidate will be motivated by building relationships with the communities, in which we live and work, to create a talented pipeline of candidates for the organization. This includes responsibility for all recruiting initiatives, process efficiencies, new hire onboarding and overall supporting the continued growth of Streetlight Data through the hiring of top talent. Ideally, this position will be based out of the Richmond or San Francisco office, however, we are open to considering remote candidates as well. The role reports to the Director of Human Resources and may require occasional travel to other StreetLight offices for company and team meetings, as well as possible travel for recruiting events.
Key Responsibilities:· Own the full recruiting life-cycle from sourcing to onboarding· Responsible for all onboarding of new employees to ensure smooth transition · Ability to identify and build relationships with passive candidates· Develop strong working relationships with all hiring managers· Actively and consistently source qualified candidates through multiple channels· Work with Director of HR to develop proactive measures to address talent gaps within Streetlight· Work with hiring managers to overcome obstacles and achieve results· Build trust and relationships with recruiting agencies· Work closely with campus career centers to expand Streetlight’s reach to recent graduates· Meticulously maintain tracking system to guide candidates and hiring managers through interview process· Ability to excellently articulate offer of employment, culture and benefits package to candidates· Ensure candidates are provided with timely updates concerning the status of their applications and interviews.· Provide a world class experience for all potential candidates· Support and continue to build the Streetlight brand through informative conversations with potential candidates· Create strategies for process efficiencies to support hiring managers and recruiting needs· Support and build internal recruiting initiatives Skills & Qualifications· 2+ years of experience in recruiting or customer-focused field· 2+ years of working in a fast-paced technology or start-up environment is highly preferred· Working knowledge of industry standard terms in technology field preferred.· Bachelor’s degree in HR management, business, or similar field, or equivalent practical experience in lieu of degree, is preferred.· Working knowledge of recruiting software and collaboration tools a plus· Experience partnering with a team of highly technical employees preferred· The ability to collaborate well with a dynamic and committed team· The ability to self-direct to design and execute tasks and goals with a high level of autonomy· Experience using a data-driven approach to identify trends and recommend proactive solutions for talent gaps· Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to design and implement people strategy that drives business results· A natural “relationship builder” focused on people· Strong communicator with the ability to successfully articulate company mission
