Job Description

Dispatch Goods is a fast-growing Seed stage start-up that’s building the infrastructure for reusable packaging, starting with food delivery and take-out! With leadership from Berkeley Haas, Stanford, Doordash, Caviar, Apple, and Google, the team at Dispatch Goods is creating the market for reusable packaging. Early customers, which include MIXT, Google, Imperfect Foods, Good Eggs, and 40+ other Bay Area restaurants, have helped replace over 200,000 items from the waste stream in less than a year.

 

The objective of the role is to assist in accelerating the strategic growth across restaurant partnerships to help Dispatch Goods reach its sales and partnerships goals.

 

This role will manage their own pipeline, targets and growth goals, reporting to the Head of Sales & Partnerships.

  • Shift restaurants to a more sustainable, more delightful packaging system
  • Create a great first impression with merchants and build a pathway of qualified leads
  • Lead the full sales cycle while closing transactions to attain new business from small to mid-size merchants
  • Master email marketing automation tools to creatively engage prospects
  • Make a high volume of cold calls (80+) and emails to prospects daily
  • Closing is your favorite part of the sales process

  • You have 2+ years of experience working in a high volume inside sales environment
  • You are competitive --- our waste system is in crisis mode, and we need to accelerate solutions
  • You have experience in Small - Medium (SMB) business to business sales
  • You have managed a full sales cycle and have been in a closing or lead generation sales role
  • You are genuinely curious about people, local businesses, and technology
  • You have a dynamic personality with a customer-focused mindset
  • You are creative, persistent and passionate about sales
  • You can navigate sales and internal tools quickly (Hubspot, Asana, Dubb, Google)

Compensation: 

Negotiable, a mix of salary & commission
