And that’s where you come in.Job Description:Accountabilities: <ul><li>Contribute to establishing, documenting, implementing, maintaining and continually improving the HSE Management System implemented on the Project in compliance with current FTA Standards, OSHA Regulations, GBMS Standards, and Local Procedures. </li><li>Contribute to the implementation of the activities in compliance with HSE Policies, HSE Legislative requirements, HSE Customer Requirements and the HSE Management System of HRH.</li><li>Contribute to the completion of HSE hazard identification and risk assessment and the determination of necessary controls measures.</li><li>Contribute to the implementation of the HSE Compliance and Management System Audits; · Contribute to the development the HSE Programs to achieve the planned HSE Objectives and Targets and areas of regulatory compliance.</li><li>Contribute to HSE Local Communication, Participation and Consultation including development and engagement of a site safety committee.</li><li>Contribute to the identification of emergency scenarios and development of appropriate emergency response measures.</li><li>Ensure the monitoring, reporting, and communication of HSE performance and provide recommendations and solutions in the event of negative trends.</li><li>Ensure that all HSE accidents and incidents are reported, investigated and analyzed for the purpose of learning from incidents.</li><li>Contribute to the identification of findings, nonconformities, and corrective and preventive actions; · Ensure that Rail Operations Center facility and all stations are inspected on regular base in compliance with the HSE Management System and OSHA Regulations.</li><li>Work cross-functionally to support a wide array of operational activities and engage leaders and employees from across the business.</li></ul>Required Skills &amp; Experience:<ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree · OSHA 511, OSHA 30 General Industry, or equivalent training and competency in General Industry Regulations.</li><li>Communication, presentation and training Development and Delivery Experience.</li><li>Experience engaging stakeholders from across all disciplines in the HSE Program. </li><li>Experience implementing programs and policies within ISO 14001 and 45001 Certified Organizations.</li><li>Experience developing and implementing site safety programs.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to inspect and evaluate workplace environments, equipment, and practices for compliance with corporate and legislative requirements, standards, and regulations.</li><li>Highly developed interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships and promote a harmonious safety environment.</li><li>Ability to complete written reports and electronic communications expeditiously and with a high-degree of accuracy and professionalism while in the field. </li><li>Computer proficiency with a strong knowledge of PCs and software applications related to the work, such as MS Office, Word, Excel, Access, SharePoint, etc. </li><li>A valid non-probationary Driver’s License.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to identify and take action on safety-related issues, conduct root cause incident investigations and handle both uncomfortable and sensitive situations.</li></ul>Desired Skills &amp; Experience:<ul><li>Rail Experience in Public Transit.</li><li>Transit Safety and Security Program (TSSP) Complexation. </li><li>Public Transportation Safety Certificate Training Program (PTSCTP). </li><li>OSHA 501 Completion. </li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or STEM related field.</li><li>Master’s Degree in an Occupational Safety and Health Discipline.</li><li>Accreditation by the Board of Certified Safety Professional (BCSP) as a Certified Instruction Training.
