Operational Risk Officer

In light of further international expansion of its business, Parkwind is looking for a Risk Officer to expand its Risk & Internal Audit team. .

Your role:

The Risk Officer will be integral to Parkwind, collaborating across the entire organization and all departments to manage project, O&M, and operational risks. Key responsibilities include:

• Develop risk management frameworks, processes, and procedures, with a focus on operational risks impacting financial reporting, compliance, and certification.
• Supporting department leaders in identifying and managing risks impacting their operational capabilities.
• Assisting in the definition of controls, KCIs and KRIs
• Helping decision-makers understand risks by reporting them.
• Promoting and cultivating a strong risk culture throughout the company.
• Reporting to management and the Board, providing independent and objective assurance on the management of risks within Parkwind’s risk appetite.
• Other assignments, for example, in ESG and project risk management.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Profile:

• A relevant Master’s degree;
• 3 years of relevant experience in operational risk management;
• A genuine interest in renewable energy, in all its aspects (technical, financial, regulatory, etc.);
• Knowledge of J-SOX or SOX is a plus;
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken;
• High degree of independence, but also capable of working as part of a team;
• Inquisitive, analytical, and able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
