SUMMARY

Nexamp is looking for an IT Help Desk & Infrastructure Technician to be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, both hardware, and software. This position would respond to queries, isolate problems, determine solutions, document, and implement fixes, as well as work on continuing infrastructure projects and improvements in a fast-growing environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as a first point of contact for technical assistance requests via phone, email, chat, or web
  • Perform hands on and remote troubleshooting to determine and enact the best solution through diagnostic techniques and asking pertinent questions
  • Consistently and accurately track incidents and service requests along with their resolutions via tickets and ticket statuses
  • Follow-up with requests as needed to ensure resolution
  • Coordinate hardware and software deployments
  • Maintain accurate inventory

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, hands-on, results-oriented and a team player. Key qualifications:

  • 1+ years of related experience or exposure working in technology problem-solving environment, e.g. job, internship, education, etc.
  • Microsoft experience including: Office 365 (especially SharePoint, Teams, and collaboration tools), Windows 10, and working within an Active Directory Domain
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve workstation technical issues
  • Customer-oriented
  • Ability to occasionally lift 35 pounds to 4-5 feet in height
