The Role

We’re seeking a senior IT support staff member to manage our company’s IT infrastructure and supervise our growing technology team. Your role will involve upgrading and installing hardware and software, resolving IT issues, maintaining our systems, and working closely with the product team.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems
  • Assist in procuring, upgrading, installing, and configuring new software to meet Zoomo’s objectives and strategic vision
  • Setup internal user accounts and necessary access controls
  • Running diagnostic tests, and resolve any issues to optimise our systems
  • Documenting processes, as well as managing backups and archival data and information – including retrieval and recovery procedures
  • Supervising IT team employees, and providing IT support

Requirements

  • Minimum of four years’ experience in a similar role
  • Self-starting initiative and the ability to project manage IT infrastructure with proficient time management skills
  • Hands on knowledge of technologies: Google Workspace, Slack. Mobile device management would be a plus
  • Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT operations best practices, including expert knowledge of security, storage.
  • Aptitude to work in a fast-paced and changing environment, manage user expectations and potential risks
  • Strong customer service orientation with proficient written and oral communication abilities
  • Attention to detail with a strategic and holistic mindset
  • Proficient organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work across time zones
  • Savvy in current technology advancements
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree preferably in IT, or adequately tech savvy with competent research and critical thinking abilities
