Meet the team:

The Glydways embedded hardware team continues to grow.  We are looking for a hardware engineer to execute the design cycle for embedded modules.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Solidifying requirements and intended use cases
  • Selecting components which are appropriate for the automotive industry
  • Executing schematic, layout, bring-up, and verification of proper operation of PCBAs
  • Documenting design process and decisions made along the way
  • Participating in failure analysis to improve the safety and availability of our novel transportation system
  • Along the way, our hardware engineers work closely with members of the systems and safety, mechanical, and embedded firmware teams to ensure a smooth integration into the onboard and offboard systems.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience working in the automotive industry
  • An energetic and self-motivated personality
  • An easy going temper to tolerate change in a fast-paced startup environment are a must.
