Responsibilities:

• Uses variety of measuring equipment to perform inspection of elastomeric gaskets to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Tools/equipment used include verniers, micrometers, height gages, CMM (optical and contact), calipers, drop gages.
• Creates part programs for coordinate measuring machine. Maintains all necessary records. Additional duties include contamination testing and calibration of measuring and test equipment.
• Performs necessary functions to adhere to ISO9001, IATF16949, ISO14001, and ISO45001 standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates

  Degree in technical discipline with two years' experience in

  mechanical inspection preferred.

• Prior experience in print reading and geometric d tolerancing preferred.

• Computer literacy required.

• Ability to perform additional functions of containment testing and calibration, completion of training courses or suitable work experience is required.
