Electrical Designer

Electric Hydrogen’s mission is to create an abundant and decarbonized material future and our outstanding people are our most important asset.  Our goal is to deliver hydrogen from renewable electrolysis for heavy industry, at prices below fossil fuels.Electric Hydrogen is searching for a Senior Electrical Designer.  A successful candidate will have experience designing electrical systems in industrial and manufacturing environments (both preferred).  The candidate must be a self-starter capable of operating with a high degree of independence and autonomy.  

Primary Responsibilities

• AC Power Distribution
• DC Power Systems (experience >1000A preferred)
• Specification and procurement
• Plant layout and interconnection drawings
• Network design
• Industrial control panel design
• Technical vendor management
• Deliverables:
• Detailed design packages
• Codes and standards compliance review
• Sourcing and procurement

Basic Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in doing electrical design for industrial, manufacturing or utility systems
• Proficiency with AutoCad Electrical
• Experience with AC/DC systems
• 4 years of experience mentoring junior designers

Preferred Qualifications

• 
  
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
• Startup experience
