Job Description
Summary: Ask Questions and get things right.
Take charge, organized, driven, detail-oriented individual to assume a senior position in our accounting department. Assist in mentoring junior staff and provide a first level of review of our TB’s and prepare operating reports and financial statements. This role is highly visible and will have heavy communications/interactions with our lenders and executive team.
Monthly:
- Book closing entries for 3 small project entity’s and holding companies.
- All entities, perform first review of monthly TB’s ensure all accounts have been properly reconciled and agreed to support.
- PnL Trend analysis to identify unusual MoM activity, investigate differences and work with team to document why different or propose adjusting/correcting entries to fix any errors found through analysis.
- Prepare monthly operating reports for lenders.
- Communicate with lenders and field questions relating to the lending agreements or operating reports.
- Work with executive team to answer lenders questions.
Quarterly:
Assist with SE1 close:
- Intercompany reconciliation and bookings, all entities.
- Prepare Executive QoQ analysis for SE1 – for executive team.
All Entities:
- DSR:_Debt Service ratios and compliance certificates for Lender reporting.
- Prepare Unaudited standalone FS for SE1 and consolidating FS for Tax Equity and project entities along with their holding companies. (VIE)
Annually:
- Prepare annual FS.
- Work with Auditors on YE audits and act as a liaison between the Accounting department and Auditors. (examples, managing PBC lists and coordinating deliverables with the accounting team).
- Liaison with Tax Consultants and work with the team to provide the deliverables needed to prepare the tax returns.
Ad hoc:
Prepare budgets for small project entities
Coordinate with Audit team on accounting of complex transactions. (example, Sales of Projects).
