Engineering Intern – Asset Maintenance (Blades & Electrical Reliability)

Nadara was formed from a merger of Ventient Energy and Renantis in 2024. We are one of Europe’s largest independent power producers with a total installed capacity of 4.2GW, across over 200 renewable energy sites in 11 countries.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Asset Maintenance department. This engineering department provides technical support, defines maintenance strategies and manages repair works on our existing operational assets.

You will work with both the Electrical Reliability and Blades Reliability teams. The ideal will have an interest in both mechanical and electrical engineering. You will get involved in exciting projects including:

•Evaluation & testing of new approaches to validate the lightning protection system condition on wind turbine blades, including robotic solutions for use on the Nadara fleet.
•Designing a small environmental monitoring system which can be installed in a wind turbine nacelle.
•Completing data analysis on transformer Dissolved Gas Analysis reports.

You will also complete some day-to-day tasks such as:
•Participating in root cause analysis and serial defect investigations.
•Completing change assessments, completing technical due diligence on any proposed changes to our assets.
•Attending annual maintenance at some sites.
•Supporting blade inspection and repair campaigns.

•Managing and updating blade asset configuration data.
