As a Process Engineer at Smappee, you will play an essential role in driving innovation and ensuring our products maintain the highest standards of quality. You will be responsible for optimizing our production processes to ensure the efficient manufacturing of our energy monitoring devices and charging solutions.

Responsibilities

  • You conduct in-depth technology analyses to support product optimization
  • To provide feedback on industrialization and contribute to product enhancements, you collaborate closely with the R&D team.
  • You optimize technology and tools in production for increased efficiency
  • You ensure that production processes meet industry standards and integrate quality control measures
  • To address production-related quality considerations, you partner closely with Quality Assurance
  • You oversee the deployment of new products at subcontractor sites, providing thorough documentation, training, and on-site support as necessary
  • You develop and maintain detailed production documentation, ensuring clarity and precision

Requirements

  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electro Mechanical Engineering or a similar field
  • You've got 3-5 years of experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment
  • Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes like assembly, testing, and quality control
  • You’re experienced in process optimization and continuous improvement, with methods like Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, PFMEA, Kaizen, etc.
  • You’re adaptable and can thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • You can work well in cross-functional teams and aren’t afraid to challenge others constructively
  • You’re proficient in AutoCAD, and if you know SolidWorks, CATIA, or Inventor, that’s a plus
  • You’re fluent in English; Dutch is a bonus!
