We are currently seeking a talented and ambitious individual to join our PMO team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, then we have a great opportunity for you. We are seeking an innovative, data driven, results-oriented Project Manager. This person leads the project management function in delivering on new product developments and executive management communications. 
This position reports to the Sr. Director of Product Development & Commercialization.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes an end to end multi-functional NPD plan to deliver product/system offerings within the committed timeline, budget, and quality.
  • Creates, assembles and leads a cross-functional team along all elements of the value chain, ensuring that comprehensive cross functional plans and deliverables are in place.
  • Drives the rigorous use of the stage gate process to assure that commitments are well defined and met.
  • Provides for the timely assessment, planning, and execution of product commercialization plans.
  • Develops and monitors key product, program, and business metrics.  Informs program team and business leaders as soon as an “out of bounds” condition develops. Works with cross functional teams to develops actionable plans for dealing with the situation in a timely fashion.
  • Delivers consistent and credible communication to the program team and business leaders (risks, issues, wins/loses).
  • Manages program risks and issues at all levels and ensures developing and meeting effective contingency and action planning.
  • Consistently identify, implement and socialize the most effective processes, tools, and systems to keep the department current with world-class best practices
  • Actively contribute to the development of the Beyond Meat culture and standards of quality

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3+ years of project management with large scale teams with a Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) discipline.
  • Project management in a CPG environment
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus.
  • Experience using Smartsheet to develop and maintain project plans is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of project management, new product development lifecycle, and various project management methodologies/styles
  • Ability to collaborate daily with a cross functional team in a healthy, robust matrixed environment.
  • Understanding of change management process.
  • Competence with MS Office, specifically MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, team building, change management and team leadership experience and able to work with minimum direct supervision.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Understanding of Product Manufacturing processes and technologies is a plus.
  • Ability to influence development of project objectives and goals.
  • Proven capability to develop metrics, analyze data and clearly convey messaging to project and leadership teams.
  • Demonstrates initiative, persistence and creativity in problem solving.
