We exist to make it easy to act on climate change. The climate emergency we currently face requires adequate and immediate action. It is one of the most threatening crises of our time. This is an opportunity to be part of an organization where you can have a direct impact, grow your experience, and have the flexibility to fit the role into your life.</p><p>.</p><p><strong>About the role</strong></p><p><strong>.</strong></p><ul><li><p>Develop and post quality content for the 50,000+ social media followers to spread positive messages, improve lives, and help people act on the climate crisis.</p></li><li><p>Support team members to create and post once per week (or more if they like) by reviewing drafts, giving feedback, and encouraging their work.</p></li><li><p>Help the team create images/videos and copy to go along with it that drives engagement and views.</p></li><li><p>Oversee the online communities to ensure positive, respectful, and appropriate engagement.</p><p>.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Experiences useful in this role</strong></p><p><strong>.</strong></p><ul><li><p>Familiar with Instagram, Twitter, Threads, Tiktok, Facebook, and/or LinkedIn.</p></li><li><p>Experience managing other people.</p></li><li><p>Ability to take initiative, learn new things, and apply them.</p></li><li><p>Good communication skills and attention to detail.</p></li><li><p>The ability to edit images or videos using software like Photoshop or Canva or the desire to learn more about it.</p><p>.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Perks</strong></p><p><strong>.</strong></p><ul><li><p>Be part of the solution to one of the biggest challenges of our age.</p></li><li><p>Channel your talents and passion in an interesting environment.</p></li><li><p>Develop new skills and valuable experience to enhance your professional trajectory.</p></li><li><p>Do amazing work on a flexible, part-time basis.</p></li><li><p>Have fun while you make a difference.</p><p>.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Expectations</strong></p><p><strong>.</strong></p><p>You will work remotely and on your own schedule. Roles work best with a minimum commitment of 6 months working 3 - 5 hours per week (or more if you like!).
