We are looking for a seasoned sales and product marketer to lead the development of sales marketing material that enables our government partnerships team to win and retain cities, as well as position Bird as a leader in vehicle and product innovation.
This person will work closely with the product, policy, vehicle, and brand and design teams to develop and maintain sales and product marketing materials for our core business. The right person is naturally curious, asks smart questions, and is adept at positioning that will win with our target audience. As the Sr. Manager, Sales & Product Marketing, you will have three core responsibilities: Develop sales and product marketing content, with a specific on messaging and positioning, that wins and retains cities. Build strategies to scale and distribute the content—to internal teams and externally. Lead training and education for our city sales teams, so they become experts on how to talk about our products and services

Responsibilities

  • Lead sales and product marketing material creation, partnering across the business to mine stories and identify areas that will enable us to win/retain cities
  • Develop content training for our city sales teams, and a regular cadence and curriculum for educating internal teams on new and existing products
  • Partner with GP, create strategies for content scale and distribution that reach our key stakeholders
  • Be a go-to-market partner on product launches, owning the development of positioning and sales content creation leading up to and after launch
  • Work independently to drive work to completion, while keeping the team informed on various work streams
  • Communicate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure information is accurate and differentiating
  • Help develop content for the Bird.co/blog
  • Identify new content opportunities (ie pamphlets) to enable city partnerships and sales

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts in related Marketing Field
  • 7+ years of experience creating sales marketing content
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
