Sr. DevOps Engineer

OverviewAs part of the Digital Operations Infrastructure team, we are looking for a Sr. DevOps Engineer to support our rapidly growing environment.  You will be responsible for supporting the AWS cloud and DevOps practices.  Your work will be tightly integrated with both the IT and Engineering teams at NIO and will provide cross functional support for day-to-day operations and projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy highly scalable fault-tolerant infrastructure solutions across a hybrid could environment
• Support day-to-day user requests for AWS services and configuration
• Create and Support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Gitlab, Artifactory, Docker
• Work with the Information Security team to ensure applications and workflows meets or exceeds company security policies. 
• Engage proactively with end users to ensure their services are deployed following security best practices
• Build and maintain standard AMI images for the engineering teams to use.
• Automation and configuration management of Linux instances in both on-premises and AWS cloud platforms
• Some On-call or after hours may be required from time to time

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in related field
• 2-4 years of AWS experience
• Strong scripting skills and automation experience using Python and shell scripting
• Experience with container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes
• Demonstrated ability to learn new programming languages
• Experience working with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Terraform
• Strong understanding of AWS networking concepts
• Experience supporting Engineering DevOps environment using common tools like Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, JIRA/Confluence.
• Highly motivated and ability to work well with other teams
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
