THE ROLE

The field operations team member will be tasked with recovering bikes that belong to Zoomo. He/She will collaborate with different departments to gather information on bike locations and attempt recoveries wherever possible. Bike chasers will always work in teams of two and will be required to engage with members of the public in a personable and professional manner during recovery as needed. They will also serve as the point of contact with law enforcement when required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Recover and repossess assets using GPS technology
  • Expand digital recovery efforts and local reconnaissance
  • Aid in Fleet Management
  • Aid in Delivery tasks
  • Aid in bike check in and check out at local workshop

Requirements

  • Trained in operational safety & conflict management
  • Experience with de-escalation strategies or techniques
  • Must be hard-working, collaborative, and ready to win
  • Excellent communication skills; you will be interfacing with the front desk team to process payments or get updated customer information and dealing with potential debtors in an amicable manner
  • Quick thinker with excellent judgement
  • Must be able to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Having a vehicle that is able to transport 55 lb preferred, but not required
  • Drivers License required
  • Must be hard-working, collaborative, and ready to win
  • Excellent communication skills: you will be interfacing with the front desk team to process payments or get updated customer information
  • Flexibility is an absolute must; we are a startup - things change on the daily so we’re hoping you can flex to work when we need you most and where required
