The Role

This book keeping (remote) position is created to support current Motiv accounting team to share work load and initially to work as a helping hand as needed purpose (10 to 15 hours a week) & in the long run for a right candidate this opportunity will be converted into permanent assignment depends on increase in volume of work.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct reconciliation of all accounts on an as needed basis
• Assist in performing activities related to the accounts payable function including reviewing, coding, and processing payments as needed basis
• Assist in processing expense reports and credit card statements in expensify
• Maintain fixed assets ledger and associated depreciation schedules.
• Help with month end close.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3-5 years relevant experience working in accounting and bookkeeping
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of GAAP
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient skills in QuickBooks, Expensify, Bill.com and Microsoft Excel
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets and general ledger
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
