We are seeking a motivated and conscientious technician to join our Cell Engineering team. You will work with a small team to assemble devices and correlate observations with performance in order to inform process improvement.
In this role, you will be responsible for:Consistently executing SOP's and product/process specifications to precisely assemble cell devices in a prototype facility, fixture assemblies and perform mechanical tests. Periodically auditing the process to ensure high-quality cells. Monitoring and recording key parameters during assembly. You will communicate discrepancies found in prototype assembly lines to the team leadMaintaining and minor troubleshooting and repair of equipment and accurately documenting calibration and maintenance records and material inventoryClearly and concisely communicating task completion status to your team members and manager through verbal and written pass-downs using MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook and OneNote)Maintaining a clean work-space and safe work environment
Minimum Requirements:Qualifications:A high-school diploma and five years’ of working experience where you had to interact and communicate with people and execute defined instructions in a consistent manner
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:You are thorough, detail-oriented and capable of completing tasks with minimal errorsYou can deliver on throughput and quality expectations under tight schedules. You are flexible and can adapt to a fast-changing environment and work prioritiesYou're comfortable working with computers: especially MS Office productsYou are eager to learn new techniques and have demonstrated the ability to learn and apply new skillsYou are autonomous, personable, positive and a good team memberYou are organized, thorough and have clear written and verbal communication skillsYou're able to work independently, but also enjoy working with a teamAble and willing work evenings, weekends with rand flexible to work overtime on short notice.Physical Requirements:Ability to perform work in a glovebox, dry room or fume hood that requires the use of fine motor skills for extended periods of time, standing, reaching and twisting motions with hands and lifting up to 15 lbs.Ability to stand for extended periods of time while performing hands-on work
Any of the following are a plus!
