Payroll Lead

Zoox Payroll Lead - This position is responsible for managing the company’s payroll operations. This positionreports to the Zoox Controller.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operation with supervision of 2-3 team members
• Manage the US and international payrolls
• Actively collaborate with business partners to assess needs and proactively leverage subject matter expertise to identify and share short and long-term opportunities for improved operational and financial performance
• Improve and implement critical controls to support appropriate segregation of duties and perform periodic audit of controls
• Improve efficiency by periodic process reviews and adoption of new methods/technologies
• Review related company policies to ensure compliances with the government and legal requirements
• Support annual full cycle financial audit, workers compensation audit, 401K audit and discrimination testing
• Coordinate with insurance brokers and international payroll providers for pension & expatriate benefits
• Payroll accounting journal entries and reconciliation with SAP/4HANA

Bonus Qualifications

• CPP preferred
• Workday experience is a huge plus
• Accounting or HR management background is a plus
