Position: Contract Adminis tra tor, Remote

We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator who will support Pivot’s Commercial Legal Team in reviewing and negotiating vendor contracts, non-disclosure agreements, and other commercial transaction documents. The Contract Administrator will project manage and help ensure compliance with existing customer agreements and vendor agreements, including contract review, administration and management, and will support the Commercial Legal contract lifecycle management projects globally and work closely with finance to enable finance accruals and FP&A review. Candidates should have 5+ years of contract management and administration experience gained working at a law firm and/or in-house at a public company.
Responsibilities

  • Provide contract review, drafting, research and organizational assistance to in-house attorneys in the negotiation of vendor and procurement agreements, purchase orders, confidentiality agreements, and other commercial transaction documents.
  • Interface with customers, vendors, and outside counsel utilizing a high degree of familiarity with legal terminology and processes.
  • Partner with attorneys to develop and refine commercial agreement templates and playbooks to drive scale, cross-functional efficiencies, and offer creative solutions where appropriate.
  • Work closely with attorneys and Legal Operations to implement a comprehensive Contract Lifecycle Management process to help streamline the contract preparation, approval, and maintenance procedures.
  • Help to maintain the electronic contract management databases, perform regular reporting on contract deviations and key metrics, and help the attorneys monitor compliance with contract terms.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders about the status of contracts and provide guidance on contract processes and internal policies.
  • Work closely with the procurement organization and other cross-functional teams to help support Pivot’s vendor relationships and supply chain.
  • Perform legal and factual research.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant contract management and administration experience
  • Extensive experience with contract drafting, review, negotiation
  • Prior experience working in-house in a legal department and/or at a law firm in a contract administration role
  • Experience with building and managing process flows, transforming data into insights and conducting training
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to comfortably communicate with and influence teams and senior management
  • High integrity and great judgment, positive attitude and commitment to excellence
  • Demonstrated ability to be a team player and self-starter with drive and initiative
  • Superb organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working with DocuSign, Ironclad (or other contract management tools), and Microsoft Office Suite strongly preferred
  • Juris Doctorate degree or paralegal certificate preferred but not required
