What you'll do

  • Assisting on the execution of financial duties, compiling financial reports and owning the month-end process
  • Supporting the preparation and maintenance of financial reports and Excel analysis
  • Supporting on the implementation of a new operational system
  • Overseeing AP/AR and payroll, identifying discrepancies, reconciling accounts and ensuring timely replenishment of bank accounts
  • Issuing sales transaction invoices
  • Maintaining and updating sales and customer records
  • Assisting in preparing sales reports, as sales performance and customer analytics
  • Supporting with local office administration

  • This is a 3 month part-time contractor position (that could be extended up to 6 months). We are looking for someone who can work 24 to 32 hours per week and come to our office in Rotterdam 2 days per week.

What you'll need:

  • A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in a financial position
  • A good understanding of financial management obligations, especially statutory obligations and requirements
  • Fast learner and independently worker
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong computer skills and basic knowledge of accounting software programs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent in English
