What you'll do
- Assisting on the execution of financial duties, compiling financial reports and owning the month-end process
- Supporting the preparation and maintenance of financial reports and Excel analysis
- Supporting on the implementation of a new operational system
- Overseeing AP/AR and payroll, identifying discrepancies, reconciling accounts and ensuring timely replenishment of bank accounts
- Issuing sales transaction invoices
- Maintaining and updating sales and customer records
- Assisting in preparing sales reports, as sales performance and customer analytics
- Supporting with local office administration
This is a 3 month part-time contractor position (that could be extended up to 6 months). We are looking for someone who can work 24 to 32 hours per week and come to our office in Rotterdam 2 days per week.
What you'll need:
- A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in a financial position
- A good understanding of financial management obligations, especially statutory obligations and requirements
- Fast learner and independently worker
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong computer skills and basic knowledge of accounting software programs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent in English
