About the Opportunity
Worldly is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Sustainability and Strategy Research Intern to support our ongoing strategic initiatives. Reporting directly to the CEO, this position will involve conducting market research, competitive analysis, and monitoring sustainability efforts within the industry. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sustainability, strategic thinking, and strong research skills.
What You'll Do
Market/Competitive Analysis:
Conduct ongoing research into emerging competitors, industry trends, and broader business dynamics that could impact Worldly.
Provide regular updates, in-depth analysis, and recommendations based on findings.
Identify and assess potential opportunities and threats in the marketplace.
Tracking Sustainability Initiatives:
Monitor sustainability-related policies, initiatives, and regulations from industry bodies and government authorities.
Provide timely updates and summaries of key developments.
Analyze the impact of these initiatives on the business and provide actionable insights.
Customer and Partner Updates:
Track relevant news, activities, and developments related to key customers and partners.
Provide synopses and analysis of these updates, highlighting potential implications for Worldly.
Collaborate with internal teams to address emerging trends or risks.
Ad Hoc Research Projects:
Take on various research projects, including exploring new market segments, assessing business opportunities, and evaluating strategic initiatives.
Present clear, data-driven insights and recommendations based on research findings.
Support the strategy team in shaping new initiatives and long-term goals.
We'd Like to See
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an MBA, Masters, or PhD program in the areas of Sustainability, Supply Chain, Business Strategy, or Research.
Strong analytical and research skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.
Previous experience in internships or research projects related to competitive or market analysis, sustainability, environmental, supply chain, or business strategy is preferred.
