If you think you have what it takes, read on...</span></div><br><br><h3>What you'll do </h3><ul><li>Lead and inspire a team of engineers (Smart Meter Engineers/Electricians) to deliver exceptional customer experiences.</li><li>Collaborate with our Talent Team to bring the best people into the business and build your team.</li><li>Ensure your team has the skills, support, mentoring, and equipment needed to excel, working with suppliers and experts to meet these requirements.</li><li>Design processes and ways of working for engineers to consistently deliver outstanding customer service.</li><li>Inspire your team to contribute to our zero-carbon journey, encouraging creativity and efficiency improvements.</li><li>Coach and develop your team, creating an environment where engineers can grow and thrive.</li><li>Support Operations Managers in executing business strategy, building the team, and driving strong performance and customer service.</li><li>Work with the Technical Assurance team to ensure quality installations and meet accreditation standards.</li><li>Ensure exceptional customer experiences, resolving issues in person where needed.</li></ul><h3>What you'll need</h3><ul><li>Experience leading and inspiring teams in operational or engineering roles to deliver top-tier customer service.</li><li>Proven experience managing engineers in a field-based environment, either onsite or in customer homes.</li><li>Relevant industry experience, ideally in utilities, energy, electrical, renewables, or smart metering.</li><li>Strong leadership skills with the ability to deliver quickly in a fast-paced, lean environment.</li><li>Ability to stay calm under pressure, with excellent organizational skills and resilience.</li><li>Strong networking and collaboration skills, delivering with a focus on quality, safety, and customer experience.</li><li>Excellent people skills, attention to detail, and creative thinking.</li><li>Proactive in anticipating needs and productive in your work approach.</li><li>Willingness to travel to support engineers, attend training sessions, and meet with customers, partners, and suppliers.</li></ul><h3>Why else you'll love it here</h3><ul><li><b>Wondering what the salary for this role is? </b>Just ask us!
