The Role:
The Electrochemical Process Engineer will play a pivotal role in the development and operation of our electroplating line, collaborating closely with both the solar cell and module teams. This entry-level position offers substantial mentorship and tremendous growth potential, perfect for those eager to expand their expertise in a supportive and passionate environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate the electroplating line from a one-megawatt pilot line to full-scale production.
  • Perform routine analysis and maintain the chemistry of the electroplating baths.
  • Analyze the properties of electroplated metals and collect electrochemical data.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and train technicians.
  • Collaborate with tooling teams to enhance system performance.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
  • Experience working in a Class 1,000 clean room.
  • Strong growth mindset and willingness to take initiative on projects beyond the scope of current knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or 2 years of directly related experience.
  • Basic knowledge of electrochemistry.
  • Experience with metal characterization techniques (e.g., X-ray Techniques, SEM, Profilometry).
  • Proficiency in analytical chemistry techniques (e.g., Titrations, UV-Vis, FTIR).
  • Programming skills in Python, C, Labview, or Matlab.
  • A positive attitude and a collaborative spirit.
